Are infectious diseases caused by people not washing their hands?

Yes , this act of people not washing thier hands contribute in the spread of Infectious diseases as for example - when A sneezes and didn't wash his hands or use handkerchief and shakes the hand with B , then the germs will be transmitted easily from A to B. and many more examples can be taken to show that infectious diseases are being contributed in thier spread by the people's act of not washing their hands.

most of the diseases like stomach ache, cough, cold occur from direct contact
since our hands are the most common medium in case of direct contact, therefore, the germs of stomach ache, cough, cold etc are transferred from one person to another..
not washing of hands results in entering of germs into our body along with food, resulting in diseases like cough, cold, stomach ache etc.....
