yes land resources are important for us because we the primary sector works such as agriculture is done on the land.
about 60 % of the indian population is depended in agriculture
and agricultural quality depends on land and its fertilty

We have only Earth as a planet to live in now. And large part of Earth's surface is covered by ocean. And the remaining part is consisting of Lands,desserts,lakes,Mountainaries, etc. Therefore we have limited amount of land to use for different purposes.Land resources are important for agriculture, Industries, Residencies,mining etc .And due to pollution, using so much of chemical fertilizers, fertile land is decreasing. Therefore we call land resources limited.
