Modern Day Digital Dictionaries  versus Classic Hard-bind Dictionaries

Modern day digital dictionaries are many times convenient and better than the classic hard bind dictionaries. They have many advantages over them.

1. Ease of use: Digital Dictionaries are so easy to use as compared to the hard-bound dictionaries. You can install the digital dictionaries in your mobile phone or laptop or tab. However, hard-bound dictionaries are quite cumbersome to carry. Looking up a word in digital dictionary is also easier as compared to the book-dictionary. You just have to type a few letters and the word appears in the dictionary with all its meanings, sentences, idioms, and phrasal verbs. So, one can use digital dictionary more frequently as compared to the hard-bind one.

2. Pronunciation: Digital dictionaries have the option to hear the pronunciation of words; but in hard-bound dictionary one is required to learn IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet), which is quite difficult.

So, in conclusion it can be said digital dictionaries are better than hard-bound classical dictionaries.
