Hey !
Scoring good marks in chemistry depends on two things -
- How many marks you have been rewarded in Practicals . (Where you can easily get 28+ or 30).
- The paper you are going to give in Boards.
Your board paper plays a key role in your score ( Contains 70 marks weightage) in which 65+ can be scored easily if you give it with patience, confidence and not do silly mistakes.
As you have written that you have thoroughly gone through books and questions and had done practice of last 2 year papers. The thing matter is have you solved them with confidence ??, as confidence in paper is important(But overconfidence is Dangerous).
Since, you still have quiet a good time for revision and self analysis you can follow these steps to make your success a sure victory....
- Find and target the weak topics (according to you) which prevent you from scoring good marks or you are not confident with( this can easily be analyzed through your class tests and consulting with subject teacher).
- Prepare these topics well -
- P- block (Named Reactions and method of preparation) , D-block .
- Named reactions in organic (better prepare notes of it).
- Electrochemistry and kinetics (a numerical is sure from both).
- Coardination comp.
Now here come some thing about you asked ,
- Better go through last 5-7 year papers as its the max. that a variation pattern is observed in question.
- For final analysis consult Xam Idea it has all previos year questions and at end of each chapter a mock test ( Do them in the alloted time).
- Finally bring some board pattern size sheets ,set a timer for 3 hours select a model test paper and have a mock test creating similar conditions as of board exam and after that analyze the parer and mistakes ( Atleast total of 4 to 5 papers if possible , one in a day is max. )
Be assure its more than enough to get the desired score...
Most importantly Don't get frustrated if not getting the answer and during the exam if question is out of bound or your approach at that time keep it for the last and do the rest of which you know....
Be calm , cool and Confident you will succeed in your mission.
All the best......And Good Luck... :-)
