No. parasites are not useful to their hosts as they take all the nutrients of the host plant to continue their life processes. They get aal of their needs from the hosts. They cause harm to the host plants. For example, virus. It is inactive until it moves into the body of a living organism. It uses the nutrients of the living organism to satisfy its need. Like common cold.. its virus effects the human body by using its nutrients and weakning the body.
