No. particles of solid doesn't move continuously.
Because in solid, malecules are tightly packed.Particles are attracted each other . So they have definite shape.
Where as in liquid and gases gap is more between the Particles.
Comparing to liquid , gases have more distance.
So ,there will be different shape for liquid. Where as in gases it moves continuouly, Particles are not attracted .There will be more gap for each particle

I hope it helps you

Heya!!

We can not say that the particles of solid is continuously moving, but it show some kinetic energy. Due to very little interparticle space, it shows vey little amount of kinetic energy or we can say as negligible. They are tightly packed due to this . This does not shows property of fluidity but show property of rigidity. They have fixed shape.

It is vary from one state to other. The increasing sequence for this :

Solid < Liquid < Gas

Hope it helps u:)
