Cross-linking is where the polymer chains are chemically joined together in places, by covalent bonds. The polymer molecules cannot slide over each other so easily. ... Vulcanised rubber has cross-links. Its polymermolecules are cross-linked by sulfur atoms. It is tough but flexible, and used for making tyres.

See mononomers are single unit or the main unit of a polymer ie. Polymer are produced by joining monomers and these joints are usually achieved through hydrolysis ... So these monomers sometime form chain, branches or sometimes they form cross linked polymers...
Now coming to your question
There are Plastics which have cross linked polymers ( remember its not monomer cause monomer is just a simple unit of plastic or polymer)....
They are Bakelite, melamine, etc...
Hope my answer will help you....
