Some of the most common plastids include:

Chloroplasts

Chromoplasts

Gerontoplasts

and Leucoplasts

Leucoplasts are further subdivided into three different plastids:

Amyloplasts

Proteinoplasts

and Elaioplasts

plastids are present only in plant cells just like the mitochondria plastid also have their own DNA and ribosomes and thus we are able to make some of their own wedding

plastid are of three types:

1) chloroplast

2) chromoplast

3) leucoplast
