Answer:

some researchers have suggested that there are only two or three basic emotions. Others have suggested that emotions exist in something of a hierarchy. ... A more recent study suggests that there are at least 27 distinct emotions, all of which are highly interconnected.

Answer:

Indeed! it's true...

Explanation:

It's kinda true. Because, most of the emotions are based on very few emotions (confusing, yet true!). Everything depends on the way we react to a situation and that depends on how we 'feel' at that particular time.

what is emotion? It's a feel. I would say that 'Love' is the basic emotion of every other emotion. Unfortunately, people nowadays get confused between 'Love'and 'Lust'. Love is definitely not all about imagining a relationship between a boy and a girl. Love includes compassion you show to a dog when it's shivering in the cold night; the sympathy you show towards a beggar who's dying of hunger. And most importantly, it includes Respect, Commitment (when you love your passion), decipline (when you love yourself)...

This is really a vast topic... But if I continue u would get bored...! so ending my justification here...

Frankly speaking, I'm very glad that this question is asked... bcuz it's very rare to find interesting questions like these which are necessary to inculcate good values... Hope this might help you
