↪Well I am completely agree with you Teenagers should be free to do what they like.
↪I am expressing my views for the freedom of teenagers.
↪I mean teens should be free. Teens have many likes and dislikes.
↪But I think it should be teen's decision about their likes n dislikes.
♦ NEGATIVITY ♦
↪Sometimes teen's take wrong decisions. ! Have u ever thought what happens next?
↪I am one of them who had taken wrong decisions not once but many times .
↪But I had learnt something positive from my mistakes .
↪So there is a little bit negativity with the positivity of taking our decisions.
♦ WHAT ABOUT THE GUIDENCE ♦
↪Teens take wrong decisions but who should guide then!
↪Parents n teachers should guide them. Well friends can also give advices to not take the wrong decisions.
↪Then the teens will learn from their mistakes.It will be correct.
♦ OWN DECISIONS N CHOICES ♦
↪I am a teen I have my own choices and own decisions no one has the right to doubt them.
↪Similarly we all have different opinions n decisions which should not be hided.
↪As most of the teens hide their feelings (I am one of them)
♦ WHAT IS THE REASON BEHIND THIS? ♦
↪Ya the reason is that we hide our feelings just because we are afraid of expressing them.
↪So teens should not hide their feelings. Some of the teens feel awkward n uncomfortable to express their feelings.
↪I don't think teens should be grouped according to their tattle. We all have different levels of maturity.
♦ RESTRICTIONS ♦
↪A very common topic #Restrictions .
↪Teens are not the horses who should be expected to work all the time especially in the case of study.
↪I know parents keep a lot of restrictions on their children. That's not right.
↪We are humans & we have brain n a mind too.
↪If someone is restricting that's wrong. Who they are to interfare in one's decision n life.
♦ A PROPER BALANCE ♦
↪A proper balance should be there. Teens have their own lives n rights n regulations they should enjoy this.
↪I don't say this just because I am a teen but because this is absolutely true.
↪In case of parents I wanna say You expect your child to obey you in terms of choosing career n other things ,

↪but your child expects from you in terms of freedom of living life enjoyfully.
♦ RESPONSIBILITY ♦
↪Teens should be given more importance n more freedom as it would help all to understand responsibility.
↪Teens may have a bad rep but we surely need n deserve a chance to prove ourselves.
♦ WHAT IF PARENTS DIDN'T GAVE THEIR CHILDREN FREEDOM ♦
↪It is a serious matter. Relationship between parents n children is very special.
↪I think if freedom hasn't been given to the teens then they started feeling bad.
↪Even they start using drugs.They started feeling depressed. N they may start hiding their feelings n things.
♦ CONCLUSION ♦
↪Actually teen don't want any restrictions n boundaries. They feel a lot when they have them .
↪There is a hidden feeling in their heart that is ''You should not do this ''.
↪The sense of living in the world where they know what is right what is wrong ,a consistent world not much complicated.
↪But there are complications in our thinking. If everything is permissible it can be unsafe also.
↪But yet I will say teen's likes n dislikes matters a lot. Children don't come into this world knowing what is right for them.
↪But they slowly learns from their elders. So cooperation is must .

Good morning everyone I am -Name- from Grade -No- and I will be speaking on the topic “Are teenagers free to express themselves as individuals?”
So… What is an Individual?
A person separate from other people possessing his/her own goals. needs, rights and responsibilities and also participates in legal or democratic processes.
These privileges are not provided to youngsters as:-
1) They are immature – in other words their brain is not developed enough to make informed decision
2) They are rebellious
3) They are too young to serve in the military and do not pay income tax
4) They are not well informed and too easily influenced
But we have seen that teenagers actively participate and organize movements for the benefit of society especially on recent issues related to global warming.
Studies have shown that they show the same level of understanding in civic as that of 21-year olds!
Around the world there are active discussions to lower the minimum voting age to 16.
Teens are not good at impulse driven situations but are as good as adults is thought out decision-making. The former is required for driving and drinking while the latter is required to participate in society.
It is seen that teens volunteer twice as much as adults and this shows more commitment to their societies.
Restricting them from fully participating in society reduces opportunity to learn and improve skills required in the future.
Overall, my conclusion is that teenagers are not free to express themselves as individuals though they are more than capable of doing so. And this has to change…
