Are the cells in an elephant larger than the cells in a rat and explain in detail why it is like this?

here's ur answer.... :)

No...the cells in an elephant is not larger than that of rats..bcoz all the organisms in the world has come from a single cell....The cells of rat and elephant are similar. Just because an animal is bigger in size does not mean the cell size is bigger. It only means that the number of cells is more in bigger animals than in smaller ones.
