Are the different types of plastids interchangable? If yes, give examples where they are getting converted from one type to another?

Yes,some plastids are interchangeable.You can take the example of a chilly or tomato.when it is not ripened,it is of green colour and has chloroplast. but,when it becomes ripened,it turnes into red colour and possess chromoplast..
