The numbers the said to be in proportion of product of there extreme is equal to product of mean.
Here, extreme are:- 63 and 72.
product of extreme = 63 × 72 = 4536
Mean are :- 55 and 32
product of mean = 55 × 32 = 1760
Since , Product of extreme ≠ Product of mean
So, they are not in proportion.
