Are the head lights of a car connected in series or parallel?why?

jkhan1: because if one light fuse due to some effect then other still work.and in the parallel combination both light get more power

Head lights are connected in parallel .

When we observe a car which has an indicator or head light damaged.But the other one works without any errors.so , we can say that they are connected in parallel.
