are the optional exercises in NCERT important and do they come?

yes.....when I was in ahmeda bad my maths techer always said that he always made the students do the optional exercise of all the chapters ...as there are 2 benefits......
1)the children will get more practice of tricky questions ...
2)if those optional questions comes in exams the student will be able to do them and score good.....and 4 ques frm optional exercise vcame in my class 10 preboards......so they r vry important.....hope this helps.....
