a1/a2 ≠ b1/b2

3/2x + 5/3y = 7 ; 9x – 10y = 14

a1/a2 = 3/2/9 = 1/6

b1/b2 = 5/3/–10 = – 1/6 and

c1/c2 = 7/14 = 1/2

Hence, a1/a2 ≠ b1/b2

The pair of linear equations is consistent
