Step-by-step explanation:

  • No the points (7,5) and (5,7) are not equal.

Reason:-

If we put both co-ordinates below on Cartesian scale then:-

  • (7,5)
  • (5,7)

\setlength{\unitlength}{1cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\put(0,0){\vector(0,1){8}}\put(0,0){\vector(0,-1){5}}\put(0,0){\vector(1,0){8}}\put(0,0){\vector(-1,0){5}}\put(5,7){\circle*{0.5}}\put(7,5){\circle*{0.5}}\end{picture}

We can clearly see both are different.

Let's take similar co-ordinates like given in Question .

  1. (1,2)(2,1)
  2. (3,4)(4,3)

Put all on Scale.

\setlength{\unitlength}{1cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\put(0,0){\vector(0,1){5}}\put(0,0){\vector(0,-1){5}}\put(0,0){\vector(1,0){5}}\put(0,0){\vector(-1,0){5}}\put(4,3){\circle*{0.4}}\put(3,4){\circle*{0.4}}\put(2,1){\circle*{0.4}}\put(1,2){\circle*{0.4}}\end{picture}

All are different .
