The wings of bat and wings of butterfly are homologous organs.

Explanation:

  • Homologous organs are those which perform similar functions in different individuals but have been formed in a different process during embryonic phase.
  • But analogous organ are formed similarly during embryonic phase but have different functions.
  • The wings of the butterfly and wings of bat both have the same function of flying.
  • But the wings of the insects are modified appendages and the wings of bat are modified forelimbs.
