yes definitely there are cultural and traditional belief related as to where the wedding ceremony should take place... I am sure that never have you ever seen a wedding taking place in a place which is is believed to be haunted or a place which is lacking in vastu as per Hindu mythology...moreover it is mostly believe that wedding mistake place in some auspicious place like temple or if it is not possible to conduct a wedding in a temple then arrangements are made to atleast temporally create a positive energy by arranging a mandap at house or function hall so that the positive energies that are emitted into the atmosphere will help in a happy wedding
