Answer- Squares: The no. which are obtained after getting multiplied by itself are called SQUARES. For example-
2²= 2×2= 4 (Here, 4 is the square no. and also a perfect square)
For finding perfect sq.-
1. Sq. no. ending with 2,3,7,8 are not perfect squares.
2. Sq. no. ending with 0,1,4,5,6,9 may/may not be perfect sq.
3. No. ending with odd no. of 0's are not perfect squares.
4. Prime factorisation in which prime factors of a no. can be paired, also helps in finding whether a no. is perfect sq.
5. Division method is another method.
