HERE IS UR ANSWER DEAR,

Yes. There are different ways to look at it. For example from a CBT point of view (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) , our thoughts have an impact on our emotions and behaviour (emotional and behavioural consequences). These thougths could be as a result of an Activating Event and could be considered as beliefs, even when they could be considered “automatic thougths”, thougths that appear in our mind and could be based on irrational things. We could identify we are thinking emotionally, radically (all/nothing), overgeneralizing, jumping into conclusions, catastrophising (looking at the situation as something worse than it is), etc.

For example, when somebody hit you, it could be intentionally or by accident. If you believe that was by accident you will feel less tempted to retaliate that if you think it has been done on purpose. If you think it has been done on purpose, probably you will feel angry and you might express some body signs like tensing your face, accelerating breathing, etc.

On the other side, if we are tired (body), we might feel exhausted, depressed, and think that the problems are bigger than what they really are. On the other side when we have excellent news, we might feel excited and full of energy.

When doing mindfulness, you can observe your thoughts, feelings and body sensations. Thoughts can be “charged” with emotions and these emotions can generate “impulses” for your body to do something.

Going to the gym, doing physical activity, dancing, are a good examples of how body can influence emotions and thoughts.
