Are viruses Prokaryotic or Eukaryotic ​

Eukaryotic means ..the nucleus having a idle nucleus with nuclear membrane....but the pokaryotic cells don't contain any idle nucleus....

now bacteria is a pokaryotic...but the virus is neither eukaryotic nor pokaryotic....cause they lack several characteristics of living things.

Infact sometimes it is said that they are non-living things.
