Perhaps not. Astronomers have been scouring the universe for places where water worlds might have given rise to life, from Europa and Mars in our solar system to planets many light years away. Radio telescopes have been eavesdropping on the heavens and in 1977 a signal bearing the potential hallmarks of an alien message was heard. Astronomers are now able to scan the atmospheres of alien worlds for oxygen and water. The next few decades will be an exciting time to be an alien hunter with up to 60bn potentially habitable planets in our Milky Way alone.

Answer:

My favorite phrase is "you never know"

And that quite perfectly answers your question

Whatever we know right now can be questioned anytime and our whole existence can be questioned.Who are we? can you define exactly from where it started to where it ended as we didn't see the start and we will most probably not see the end too.( you never know, if somehow the researces about increasing life span of human are super successful and we become immortal)We believe in all the theories and even practicals sometimes are curious about the unknown a lot is left yet to be discovered about our own selves like the pineal gland.Different people different opinions and as someone said some questions are better left unanswered.Whenever I dive deeper into these incidents and theories I am disturbed. What if the realities we live in are all in our mind ...if you don't think it it's blank, empty and silence.

Scary for me...so ignorance is bliss I guess
