ANSWER :

(a)It refers to the bureau.

(b) Because she is told not to let the Jordans come in till they have brought the Bureau downstairs.

(c)The two reasons are as follows : 1.she says grandfather had himself given them that bureau that morning. 2.She also means that Elizabeth would feel jealous if she came to know of it.

(d) The elders are mean and greedy while Vicky has an Innocent Heart.
