\large\underline{\underline{\sf Given:}}

  • Lenght of rectangular park = 90m

  • Breadth of rectangular park = 70m

  • Path inside park = 6m

\large\underline{\underline{\sf To\:Find:}}

  • Area of path = ?

  • Area of remaining park in hectare = ?

\large\underline{\underline{\sf Solution:}}

After path is added around rectangle

New Lenght = 90 - 2 × 6

\implies{\sf 78m}

New Breadth = 70 - 2 × 6

\implies{\sf 58m}

\large{\sf Area\:of\:Path(A)=Lenght×Breadth }

\large\implies{\sf A=78×58}

\large\implies{\sf A=4524m^2}

Area of park including the path

\large\implies{\sf 90×70 }

\large\implies{\sf  6300m^2}

Area of park excluding the path = Area of park including the path - Area of the path

\large\implies{\sf 6300-4524 }

\large\implies{\sf 1776m^2}

We know that

We know that 1 hectare = 10000 m

Area of remaining park in hectare :

\large\implies{\sf \frac{1776}{10000} }

\large\implies{\sf 0.1776m^2}

\Large\underline{\underline{\sf Answer:}}

•°•Area of path is 4524m² and Area of remaining park in hectare is 0.1776m²
