HERE IS THE PROCESS DEAR----

let length of the room be L

so,

the area of the room =length ×breadth

300m² = L×breadth

breadth = 300m/L

and ,

the length after decreasing 5m= L-5m

the breadth after increasing 5m=(300m/L)+5

=( 300+5L)/L

so,

. the area = length × breadth

300m² =( L-5)×(300+5L)/L

300 L = 300L+ 5L² - 1500 -25L

300L- 300L = 5l² - 1525L

0. = 5L² - 1525L

1525L = 5L²

= 1525L/5

L² = 305 L

/L. = 305

L. = 305

hence, the length of the room is 305m....
