Area of a circle
of a circle is 616 sq.m. There is a pathway of 2 m
outside the circle. find the area of pathway.​

Answer:

according to question :-

area of inner circle = 616 m ^2

so πr^2 = 616

22/7 *r^2 = 616

r^2 = 616*7/22

r^2 = 196

r = √196 = 14

now radius of inner circle = 14 m

pathway = 2

so radius of outer circle = 14+2 = 16m

now area of outer circle = πr^2

area of outer circle = 22/7* 16 * 16 = 804.57 m^2

now area of pathway = area of outer circle - area of inner circle

area of pathway = 804.57 - 616.00 = 188.57 m^2
