Given :-

  • Base of Parallelogram is 83.2 cm²
  • Height of a Parallelogram is 6.4 cm

To find :-

  • Base of a Parallelogram

Formula to know:-

  • Area of Parallelogram = base × height

Solution:-

Just plugging values in above formula

Area of Parallelogram = base × height

83.2 cm² = base × 6.4cm

83.2 cm = 6.4 × base

base = 83.2 cm / 6.4 cm

base = 832 cm / 10 × 10/64

base = 832 /64 cm

Base = 13cm

So, base of a Parallelogram is 13cm

Correct Question:-

  • The area of parallelogram is 83.2 sq.cm if its height is 6.4 cm find the length of it base.

❍ Let the length of its base be x cm respectively.

\underline{\bigstar\boldsymbol{According\;to\;the\;given\;Question:}}

  • Here,The area of parallelogram is 83.2 sq.cm and the height of parallelogram is 6.4 cm we can use the formula of area of parallelogram to find the length of its base.

\underline{\frak{\dag\;As\;we\;know\;that:}} \\ \\ \\ \blue{\star}\;\boxed{\sf{Area\;of\;parallelogram\;=\;Base\;\times\;Height}}\\ \\ \\

Therefore,Applying the given values:

\\ \dashrightarrow\;\sf{83.2\;=\;x\;\times\;6.4}\\ \\ \\ \dashrightarrow\;\sf{x\;=\;\frac{\cancel{83.2}}{\cancel{6.4}}}\\ \\ \\ \dashrightarrow\;\sf{x\;=\;13}\\ \\

Hence,

  • The length of its base is 13 cm.
