Circumference = 44cm

=> 2πR = 44

=> πR = 22

=> R =  \frac{22 × 7}{22} = 7cm

We know that, Angle of a quadrant = 90°

Area of a quadrant = \frac{90}{360} × πR^2

= \frac{1}{4} × \frac{22}{7} × (7)^2

= \frac{11 × 7}{2}

= \frac{77}{2}

= \fbox{38.5 cm^2}
