Answer:

Radius of the circle is 7cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Area of circle is equal to an area of a rectangle.

The dimensions of the rectangle is :

(11cm • 14cm)

Here, the rectangle and the circle having same area where the dimensions of the rectangle is given we need to find the radius of the circle.

Solution :

Formula used here :

➙ Area of circle = πr²

➙ Area of rectangle = l × b

Since, their area is equal

We can say that,

→ πr² = l × b

  • l (length) = 14cm.
  • b (breadth) = 11cm.
  • Taking "π" as 22/7

So,

→ πr² = 14 • 11

→ 22/7 • r² = 154

→ r² = 154*7/22

→ r² = 7*7

→ r = √49

→ r = 7 cm.

The radius of the circle is 7cm.
