Area of a rectangle is 24cm sq. If its length is 6 cm find its width. Find the area of the square whose perimeter is same as of this rectangle

Answer:

The width of the rectangle is 24/6 = 4cm

In the case of a square,

4a = 24

a = 6cm

Area of the square = 4(36) = 144 cm sq.
