Area of a rectangular field is 560 sq.metre.Ratio of their length&breadth is 5:7.Find the diagonal of a rectangle.

Let the common be x
Then..
5x*7x=560
35x = 560
x = 560/35
= 16
Hence length =5*16=80
And breadth =7*16 =112
Now, diagonal =
$\sqrt{ {80 }^{2} } + {112}^{2}$
=
$\sqrt{6400 + } 12544$
=
$\sqrt{18944}$
=137.63.
