★Given:-

  • Area of a rectangular field is 736 Sq m.
  • Ratio between its length to the breadth be 3:2

★To find:-

  • Its length and breadth.

★Solution:-

Given ratio between length to breadth is 3:2.

Let,

  • Length = 3x
  • Breadth = 2x

Using the formula,

Area of rectangle = length×breadth

Putting values,

➜Area = l×b

➜736 = (3x)(2x)

➜736 = 6x²

➜x² = 736/6

➜x² = 122.6

➜x = 11.07

We have,

  • Length = 3x
  • Breadth = 2x

Substituting the value of x,

➜Length=3x

             =3(11)

             =33m

➜Breadth=2x

               = 2(11)

               = 22m

Hence,

Length is 33m & breadth is 22m.
