Answer :-

Height of right angled triangle = 80 units.

Explanation :-

Given : Area of a right angled triangle is 40 times it base.

To Find : Height of the triangle.

Solution :

Let the base be x.

So, Area of triangle = 40x.

We know that,

Area of Triangle = ½ × base × height.

According to the Question,

➞ ½ × x × h = 40x.

➞ (x)(h) = (40x) × (2).

➞ (x)(h) = 80x.

➞ h = 80x/x

h = 80.

Therefore, Height of Triangle = 80 units.

Question :

Area of right angled triangle is 40 times its base. What will be the height?

Given :

  • Area of right angled triangle is 40 times its base.

To find :

  • Height of the triangle.

Solution :

  • Let the base of triangle be x.
  • Area of triangle = 40x
  • Let height = h

 \boxed{\underline{\tt Area \: of \: Triangle \: = \: \dfrac {1}{2} \times base \times Height }}

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

 \implies \tt { 40x = \dfrac {1}{2} \times {x} \times {h} }

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

 \implies \tt { 40x \times {2} = h \times x}

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

\implies \tt {\dfrac {80x}{x} = h }

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

 \implies \tt {80 = h }

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ

 \boxed {\tt Height \: of \: the \:  right \: angled \: triangle \: = 80 \: units }
