Answer:

area of a right angle triangle is 24 cm

here base is 6 cm

let height is x cm

area of the right angle triangle is 1/2.base.height

=> 1/2.6.x=24

=> 6x=24×2=48

=> x=48/6=8

so,height is 8 cm

we know,

hypothenuse^2=base^2+height^2

=> hypothenuse^2=6^2+8^2=36+64=100

=> hypotenuse= √100=10

length of the hypotenuse is 10 cm

Answer

hypotenuse= 10cm

Step-by-step explanation:

area of triangle= 24cm. sq

1/2 × base× height= 24

1/2×6×h= 24

3×h= 24

h= 24/3

H= 8cm

hypotenuse.sq= base. sq +perp. sq

h^2= 6 ^2 + 8^2

h^2= 36+64

h^2 = 100

h= √100

h= 10cm
