given :-

Area of the square = 2025

s^2 = 2025

s = √2025

s = 45

therefore if the width = 3.5 m outside the square so the side length would be equal to 45 + (3.5×2) = 45 + 7 = 52 m

Area of path = area of square ( including path ) - original area

Area of path = (52 )^2 - 2025

= 2704 - 2025

= 679 m^2

therefore area of path = 679 m^2
