we know that 1 hectare =10000 metre square

So area of square=1/2*10,000 =5000 sq m

let side of square be a

We know area of square=a x a=a^{2}

a^{2} =5000=(50 )^{2} \\So a=50[tex]\sqrt{2} metre\\[/tex]

we know that angles of a square are 90 degree

So by pythagoras theorem

^{2} +side^{2} =diagonal^{2} \\2(50\sqrt{2} )^{2} diagonal^{2} \\diagonal^{2}  =2x 5000=10000=100^{2} \\diagonal=100 metre\\Hope this helps :)side
