  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

          Given data:- Area of a square is 144cm^{2}.

           To find:- Parameter of a square.

          Solution:-

  • The perimeter of a square is the total length of all the sides of the square.
  • Hence we can find the perimeter of a square by adding all its four sides.
  • We know the Formula of the parameter of a square is

         \text { parameter\ of\ square }=4 \times \text { side. }

  • We know that

      Area= length\times width.

       Therefore we get

        \text { So side }(S) \text { of a square }=\sqrt{144}\\\mathrm{S} \text { (one side of square) }=12 \mathrm{~cm}\\\text { Now perimeter }(P)=4 \times S\\P=4 \times 12\\p=48.

     Hence parameter of square is 48.
