Area of a square of side 4 m is equal to the area of a rectangle of length 16 m. Find the perimeter of the rectangle.

Area of square= Area of rectangle

Side of square= 4m

Area of square= (4)²= 16m²

Area of rectangle also= 16m²

Length of rectangle= 16m

Breadth of rectangle= Area of rectangle/length of rectangle

b=16/16

b=1m.

Perimeter of rectangle:-

=2(l+b)

=2(16+1)

=2×17

=34m

Perimeter of rectangle is 34m.

Option c) 34m.
