Given:-

  • Area of Trapezium = 140cm²
  • Length of one parallel side = 25cm
  • Height between the parallel sides = 7cm

To Find:-

  • Length of the second parallel side.

Solution:-

\boxed{\sf{✯\;Area\;of\; Trapezium = \frac{1}{2}(a+b)h}}

→\;{\sf{\frac{1}{2}×(25+b)×7 = 140}}

→\;{\sf{25+b = \frac{140×2}{7}}}

→\;{\sf{25+b = 20×2}}

→\;{\sf{b = 40-25}}

☞\;{\red{\bf{b = 15}}}

  • Length of second parallel side = 15cm
