Area of trapezium = 1/2 ( sum of parallel sides) × height

248 = 1/2 ( X+ X- 4)× 8

248/4 = 2x-4

62 = 2x-4

62+4= 2x

66= 2x

X= 66/2

X= 33

One parallel side (X)= 33 m

Other parallel side(x-4)= 33-4= 29 m
