Area of a Trapezium is 34 cmsquare and its height is 4 cm.
If one parallel side is 10 cm then find the length of second parallel side​

hey mate!!! here is ur answer

area of trapezium= 1/2× h( 1st parallel side+ 2nd parellel side)

34=1/2× 4( 10+x)

34= 2(10+x)

17= 10+x

17-10= x

x= 7

1st parallel side= 10 Let the 2nd parallel side be x.

Since,

Area of Trapezium = 34 cm^2

(a+b/2) × h = 34

(10+x)×4 = 34

10+x = 34÷4

10+x = 8.5

x = 10 - 8.5

x = 1.5 ans.

The length of second parallel side is 1.5 cm.
