Area of a trapezium is 462 CM sq unit if the length of the parallel side are 26 cm and 16 cm find the distance between the parallel side

area of trapezium - 1/2 ×sum of parallel sides× height.

area = 462 cm²

let height be 'h'

parallel sides = 16 and 26 cm.

their sum = 16+26=42 cm

so , area = 1/2 × 42 × h

462 = 21 h

h = 462 ÷21

h = 22 cm.
