Given:-

Area of trapezium=720cm²

Length of parallel sides= 8cm and 12 cm

Area=H×(Sum of length of parallel sides)

720=H×(8+12)

720=H×20

720/20=H

H=36

So height of given trapezium is 36 cm.

\huge\purple{Required \: Answer :} .

Distance between parallel sides = 72 cm

\huge\red{Explanation :}

Given :

Area of Trapezium - 720  \: {cm}^{2}

Parallel Sides - 8cm and 12cm

To Find :

Distance Between Parallel Sides (height) - ?

Formula :

</u></em></strong><strong><em><u>A</u></em></strong><strong><em><u>rea =  \frac{</u></em></strong><strong><em><u>S</u></em></strong><strong><em><u>um \: of \: </u></em></strong><strong><em><u>P</u></em></strong><strong><em><u>arallel \: </u></em></strong><strong><em><u>Si</u></em></strong><strong><em><u>des}{2}  \times h

Solution :

720 \:  {cm}^{2}  =  \frac{8 + 12}{2}  \times h \\ 720 =  \frac{20}{2}  \times h \\ 720 = 10 \times h \\ h =  \frac{720}{10}  \\ h = 72 \: cm
