Answer:

area of traingle = 1/2 × base × height

87 = 1/2 × 15 × height

87×2÷15 = height

h= 174/15

Answer :

  • 11.6 is the height of triangle

Given :

  • Area of a triangle is 87 cm²
  • Base of triangle is 15cm

To find :

  • Corresponding height of the triangle

Solution :

Given,

  • Base = 15cm
  • Height = ?
  • Area of triangle = 87 cm²

As we know that

  • Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h

where,

  • b is base
  • h is height

》Area of triangle = 1/2 × b × h

》1/2 × b × h = 87

》1/2 × 15 × h = 87

》h = 87 × 2/15

》h = 29 × 2/5

》h = 58/5

》h = 11.6cm

Hence, 11.6 is the height of triangle
