We know,

 \tt{Area  \:  \: of \:  \:  traingle =  \frac{1}{2} \times b \times h }

Given :

  • Area of triangular field = 2.5 hectares
  • One of side of field = 250 m

To find : Altitude corresponding to (given) Side

 \bf =  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times b \times h = 2.5 \:  \: hectare  \\  \\   \bf=  >  \frac{1}{2}  \times 250 \times h = (2.5 \times  {10}^{4})   \:  \: {m}^{2}  \\  \\   \bf=  >  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: h =  \frac{ \frac{25}{10} \times  {10}^{4}  }{ \frac{1}{2}  \times 250}  \\  \\   \bf =  >  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: h  =  \frac{25 \times  {10}^{3} }{125}  \\ \\   \bf =  >  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \:  h =  \frac{ {10}^{3} }{5}  \:  \:  =   \red{200 }\: m
