Answer:

area of equilateral triangle=√3/4*a^2

16√3=√3/4*a^2

64 = a^2

a =8 m

Therefore the side of triangle is 8metres.

Answer:-

Given:

Area of an equilateral ∆le = 16√3 m²

We know that,

Area of an equilateral ∆le = √3/4 * a²

→ √3/4 * a² = 16√3

→ a² = (16√3) * 4/√3

→ a² = 64

→ a = √64

→ a = ± 8

→ a = 8 m

(Side of an equilateral triangle can't be negative . Hence positive value is taken.)

We know that,

Perimeter of an equilateral triangle = 3a

→ perimeter of the ∆le = 3*8

Hence,

Perimeter of the equilateral triangle = 24 m
