As we know the property of isoscles triangle, if we draw a perpendicular in the isocles triangle then it divides the base into two equal parts then by Pythagoras theorem,

we can find its height

perpendicular squr. = hypotenuse square. - base squr.

p^2= h^2-b^2

p^2= 6^2-5^2

p= √11

so height is √11

so area,

1/2×10×√11

5√11cm ^2
