Any quadrilateral can be split into 2 scalene triangles then adding them you get the area quad.
The triangles formed can either be scalene or equilateral or isosceles or right triangle, accordingly the formula changes.
SCALENE triangle:-
√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) + √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
Equilateral triangle:-
√3 /4 a²+√3/4a²
Isoceles triangle;-
bh/2+bh/2
Right triangle:-
√(a²+b²) + √(a²+b²)
