Given,

Area =16π

Now, we know that=>

Area = πr^2

=>16π = πr^2

=> r^2=  16

So ,          r = 4

                or

               r = (-4)

{neglected as measure can't be negative}

Hence radius of Circle = 4 units.

Remember

1) A Circle is a collection of points in which the points are equidistant from a particular point.

2)Area of circle = πr^2

3) Circumference of circle = 2πr

4)Area of Sector of circle

=\frac{A}{360}× π×r^{2}

where A is the measure of angle.

Also while finding area of the circle be careful that to take the vale of pi according to the digits unless and until it is specified in the book itself since pi is an irrational no. so the value needs to be taken care of.
